The date for the Pranayama Course has been set for October 28.

This is a six week course held on Friday mornings from 6 am to 7 am.

Pranayama is the direction of the life energy through the refinement and control of the breath. It is very different from normal breathing and brings the student to experience a state of deep tranquillity. Pranayama is the next stage in yoga after the asanas and is also considered to be the beginning of the inward journey which leads to the state of meditation.

Students should have a minimum of at least six months of regular attendance in Iyengar Yoga classes before beginning Pranayama. If unsure please speak to Jan. The course will cater for those new to this stage of yoga as well as to those who are experienced. Please book by October 21 along with your deposit of $25 or full fee of $85.
