Conscious Breathing can have far reaching benefits compared to normal breathing which carries on without needing our awareness. Learning how to deliberately increase the volume of your breath and how to direct it for a chosen effect increases your lung capacity and breathing efficiency thus giving you greater vitality and helping your immunity and mental strength. You can use conscious breathing to stretch more easily, to endure more easily, to concentrate better as well as to steady your emotions and reduce your stress levels. The workshop will also give you a base for learning the more refined breathing skills of Pranayama when you are ready.
