The term 1 pranayama course at Gold Coast School Of Iyengar Yoga commences shortly on 24th February running each Friday 6am to 7am for six weeks.

Pranayama is controlled, refined and directed breathing and is the next stage in yoga after the physical postures or asanas. It is an important prelude to meditation and gives the experience of a very calm and quiet mind and transcended state. Practice of pranayama strengthens lungs, abdominals, nervous system and immune system.
