This Workshop with Jan will focus on techniques to improve the mobility and range of motion of your shoulder joints. The neck, scapulae and upper back are all included and can suffer strain when the shoulder mobility is limited or unbalanced.

We will also be working on arm tone in this workshop. Arm tone is not quite the same as arm strength. Iyengar Yoga emphasises a balance of stretch and strength which gives the muscles a more sculptured appearance compared to bulk. As muscle size can diminish over time or due to injuries knowing how to tone can help to keep your joints moving and will assist both strengthening and shouder functioning.

The Shoulder Mobility and Arm Tone Workshop is suitable for all yoga students and everyone will learn and practice various ways in which to help themselves. Fee is $65. A deposit of $25 or full fee should be paid without delay. Any balance of fee is payable on the day.
